Knockout Competitions 2008
The Draw for the Single and Pairs is now available on the web the sheets and phone numbers will be on the board Thursday AM. Please ensure matches are played by the given dates and a name or names put forward to ensure the smooth running of these competitions

For match play the Mens SI should be used for both Ladies and Men
The handicap adjustment should be calculated as follows
Ladies'Competition H/cap = Ladies'CONGU H/cap + (SSSladies - SSSmen)
Eg 24 = 21 + (72 - 69)
An addition of 3 shots
Singles - the 3 shots should be applied.
Pairs - The SSS adjustment should be applied to the Ladies' handicaps and then the appropriate fraction applied.
Internal Club Competitions
The committee has determined that any entrants for the singles, pairs, and foursomes knockout competitions, should have competed in two qualifying competitions or submitted two cards for handicap purposes in the previous 12 months. This applies from the closing data for entry in the above competitions. Members who are unable to play in two qualifying competitions are reminded that they can satisfy this condition by submitting two signed cards (N.B.- three signed cards are required to obtain a handicap for the first time)
